The Vermont Sail Freight Project at New Amsterdam Market

On Sunday October 27, the New Amsterdam Market will host the Vermont Sail Freight Project, hauling 15 tons of Champlain and Hudson Valley produce to the the South Street Seaport via wind-powered water transport.

Sail-barge Ceres, launched in Ferrisburg, Vermont, is now making her maiden voyage to New York City.
