A Visit to the Eco-Dock

Update 10/26/13: according to an email this afternoon from Jose Soegaard at Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance, the tug's 3:30 PM visit today was cancelled due to serious mechanical problems resulting in it being towed back to Manhattan. The tour will be re-scheduled, possibly next

Eco-Dock Ribbon-Cutting

A gaggle of notables, including city Parks Commissioner Veronica White, Borough President Marty Markowitz, Council Member Vincent
Gentile, and Metropolitan
Waterfront Alliance President and CEO Roland Lewis, will be at the 69th Street Pier, at Bay Ridge Avenue and Shore Road in Bay Ridge, at 11 AM tomorrow, Thursday, October 17, to cut the ribbon on Bay Ridge's first Eco Dock.
