On Friday, plaintiffs in a legal action to keep the doors open at Cobble Hill's Long Island College Hospital got a court order against SUNY and the State Department of Health forcing the defendants to stop interfering with the provision of medical services and appointing an independent monitor to make sure they comply.

DeBlasio: LICH Coded

According to an email blast today from deBlasio, SUNY is violating the temporary restraining order issued by State Supreme Court Justice Baynes yesterday by continuing to divert ambulances and trying to move patients out of LICH.
