URBAN Tattoo Convention Clicks in Brooklyn



After three years in Manhattan, the weekend-long URBAN (Unity Running Beyond All Nations) Tattoo Convention (UTC) was hosted this year at Brooklyn's Industry City complex in Sunset Park from June 28-30.

According to the organizers, the event, which drew a big turnout, was a win for the borough.

Food Truck Roundup at Industry City



Little wonder New York City's affair with food trucks has crossed the bridge: worldwide, 2.5 billion people a year now eat on the street.

Every Wednesday in July, Industry City, at 220 36th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenue) in Sunset Park, will host a local food truck roundup from 11:30 AM to 2 PM.

URBAN Tattoo Convention at Industry City





After three years in Manhattan, the URBAN Tattoo Convention, from June 28-30, is moving to Brooklyn's Industry City, at 233 37th Street in Sunset Park.

The convention celebrates tattoo as art form and showcases the work of the best tattoo artists, including, this year, the stars of reality TV series “Best Ink” and “Ink Masters.”
