Rich Nolan, who chairs the board of endangered Jesuit retreat Mt. Manresa in Staten Island, dismissed a proposal by the Committee to Save Mt. Manresa to re-purpose the site as a conference center and park as "completely unrealistic."
The Committee's proposal, which projects annual revenues of up to 11.5 million, would require a $17.5 million start-up loan from the city.
