As reported by the Daily News and the New York Times, State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has served a subpoena on Brooklyn Rabbi Yaakov Weingarten in a Brooklyn State Supreme Court lawsuit involving about 20 non-profit organizations associated with Weingarten's name.
Named as defendants in the lawsuit are Midwood resident Yaakov Weingarten, his wife, Rivka, and two Weingarten employees,
