Despite an adverse ruling by a State Supreme Court justice in the Jesuits' application to sell former retreat Mt. Manresa to a developer, the Committee to Save Mt. Manresa will stay in the fight.

The Committee, supported by elected officials Diane Savino, Nicole Malliotakis, Jim Oddo and Debi Rose, is weighing its legal options.

"The Nutcracker" at the St. George Theatre

On Sunday, December 22 at 1 PM and 6 PM, The Vicky Simegiatos Dance Company will present Christmas classic "The Nutcracker", featuring New York City Ballet principal dancers Jared Angle and Rebecca Khron, at the legendary St. George Theatre, 35 Hyatt Street (2 blocks from the ferry) in Staten Island.

Important Rally at Mt. Manresa This Morning

The Committee to Save Mount Manresa Committee has issued an urgent call to friends and supporters to come to its 18th rally at 10 AM today, Saturday Sept 28, in front of the stone Manresa sign (around 99 Narrows Road North) in Staten Island.

The Committee wants this rally, the last before its court date on October 1, to be its biggest so far. Today's turnout matters.
