On Friday, Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge John Ingram, responding to allegations that Smith Street bail bondsman George Zouvelos revokes his clients' bail so that he can rake off their collateral, demanded that Zouvelos explain why he had revoked the bail of 18 clients in a period of just over a week.
