Lemony Snickett at the Bookmark Shoppe

At 6:30 PM on October 15, the Bookmark Shoppe, at 8415 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge, will host Daniel Handler, author of the Lemony Snicket book series: A Series of Unfortunate Events, 13 Words and The Composer Is Dead.

Handler, who doubles as an accordian player, will release a CD of 13 "dreadful" songs from the Unfortunate Events series with friend and Magnetic Fields rocker Steven Merritt.
