Dialing Back on Small-Time Marijuana Possession



Brooklyn leads the city in small-time marijuana possession cases. Last year alone, 12,732 people were busted in Brooklyn for carrying small amounts of weed.

The taxpayers pick up the tab for the cops, prosecutors and court personnel it takes to process these cases.
