A Wildlife-Friendly Garden



Those of us lucky enough to have a back yard have the chance to turn it into an autumn oasis for wildlife.

Planting late-blooming native perennials like coneflowers, asters and goldenrods will attract migrating Monarchs and other butterflies.

Instead of bagging the leaves and putting them out with the trash, rake them into your flower beds, where they will provide a winterizing natural mulch
