"WWII and NYC: Photography and Propaganda" on Governor's Island

High school student historians from the New-York Historical Society have created a pop-up exhibit, "WWII and NYC: Photography and Propaganda", about New York City during the Second World War.

The exhibit, featuring historic black-and-white wartime photos of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, is housed in a 19th century officer's home on Governor's Island complete with a reproduction Victory Garden.
